At Nourishing Care our goal is to empower parents and support them in feeding and nurturing their infants, from prenatal education, through the continuum of newborn, infancy and toddlerhood. We provide anticipatory guidance, and assessment and management of challenges that may be encountered, collaborating with the family and their healthcare team.
Lactation Medicine:
OHIP-funded, referral-based, physician-provided care for parents and infants who encounter challenges related to lactation and infant feeding (chest, breast and bottle). A practice guided by available evidence, and the principles and protocols developed by the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.
